Rocky Point - Events

Tiffany and Cody’s seaside ceremony, which took place on Saturday, November 13^th at 4:45 on the beach at Villa Del Ensueno, had a casually elegant vibe.

Found at the entrance to Las Conchas, the Villa, charming and intimate, is built in the traditional Mexican style.  The tide was low and the setting sun served as a gorgeous backdrop when the bride and groom said I Do under a covered canopy decorated with yellow lilies, white roses and purple pinocho.

A traditional Mexican dinner, including Spicy Shredded Roast Beef, Chicken Chimichangas and Cheese Quesadillas, was served on the patio overlooking the beautiful beach and gently rolling waves.

Guests were serenaded by a Mariachi band for the first hour and after dinner danced the night away to the sounds the DJ played.

Their three-tiered wedding cake, understated, yet elegant, featured lovely fresh flowers adorning each tier, in the color scheme of the wedding.

We wish the newlyweds much happiness and hope they will always look back on their beautiful wedding by the Sea with fondness

Courtney and Sean  - November 13, 2009 – Villa Del  Ensueno

The had the wedding of their dreams on a gorgeous day on the beach and just celebrated their one year anniversary. 

Here’s what the bride’s mom, Ginny, say about their wedding by the sea…

"Courtney grew up spending vacations in Rock Point with her family, it has always held a special place in her heart. When she and Sean got engaged, they knew right away they wanted to be married at sunset on the beach in Rocky Point. They found Sol at Si I do online and were so delighted with everything she did, the wedding was exactly what they wanted. It was perfect having family and close friends all stay together at Villa del Ensueno. We could not have asked for a better weekend!!

Thanks again to Sol and her staff for making the day so perfect!!"

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary guys!

Oct 23 at 5:15 pm  at Sonoran Sun  - Cindy and Troy… met at a 4Th of July party back in 2000.  They both worked at LAX airport.  “I started visiting Cindi at her podium regularly (she was a concierge at the time), and soon we started dating” said the groom.  We would go on lots of trips to exotic locations back then as Cindi and I could fly for free.  We always thought that if we were to get married, it would be nice to do it in a beautiful location like the places we had visited.  Troy went on to tell us that… “When I went to Rocky Point for the first time with my brother, I realized this was perhaps the type of place that was perfect for our wedding.  When I found the Si I DO website online, I/we knew it was the right place, and you guys were the right people.”
